Hihihi! It's been awhile, hasn't it. I'm a little bit in shock that it's been a full year since I have updated this thing. I didn't really think about my langushing in terms of entire orbits around the sun. Funny to be finding myself updating my little corner of the internet in the midst of the hottest week of this sunsetting SoCal summer, maybe ushering in a new fresh season as the summer comes to a close. Alas, here I am -- fully delayed and excited to reintroduce my world to each of you.

In some ways the past 12 months have felt like a blur. Days and weeks blending together as new rhythms and responsibilities have taken such sharp focus. As I look back I'm surpised to find that even with such a singular focus, there has been a prominent relief that has given a beautiful form to the the rest of my world. What has felt, at times, like a season that turned to more of a diffuse impressionism, I've looked at the photos in my camera roll with such distinct feelings of joy, delight, and gratitude. I hope I never lose the warm feeling of my heart swelling as I relish in the beautiful life I have, surrounded by beautiful souls.
